Fun illustration i did for my class. Nick Bachman and myself watched some Lord of the Rings last weekend and i was Jonesin' for some sweet fantasy battles, so i created this drawing in photoshop. I tackled this piece trying not to use my ink lines but more shapes of colors. I am trying to get this as close to a painting as i can (so far).

I feel like the characters and the background are two separate things going on. I'm assuming they both met randomly out in the woods, so this means both of them were out in the snow trudging around for a while. I think adding some snow on to them would help tie it all together more.
